The gathering of the assessment group on November 8, 2008
brought together librarians from summer assessment workshops of the
past three years. Participants were able to see results of this
process over the three three span.

Here’s the Evidence Assessment Workshop II
In the summer of 2007, a second round of: School Librarians Help Students Achieve: Here’s the Evidence Assessment Workshop was conducted. This was another joint effort by the Hawaii Association of School Librarians, School Library Services, and University of Hawaii’s College of Library and Information Services. During this workshop, the librarians developed a plan that includes a lesson or series of lessons with identified assessment criteria and tools that will be used to gather data for improving instruction and student learning.
