HASL HELP On Kauai

On April 1, 2006, a group of Kauai librarians gave a warm welcome to a couple of representatives from HASL HELP. Merle Uegawa opened her beautiful library at Kamakahelei Middle School to her fellow Kauai librarians. This enabled information from last September’s HASL HELP on Oahu to be shared with librarians on Kauai. It was a great opportunity to meet, network with each other, and touch basis with neighbor island librarians. In addition, this gathering provided an opportunity for librarians to discuss concerns specific to Kauai. Gail Yoshimoto and I would like to thank these special ladies for their sharing, warm hospitality, and the two bags filled with an assortment of yummy snacks from Kauai.
